ACE
The Access Certificate in English language teaching (ACE) is a Pitman/City & Guilds qualification developed with Manchester University in the UK. It offers a initial-level certificate for people who have never taught before or for teachers with some experience who want a formal qualification or for teachers experienced in teaching another subject who want to switch to teaching English. The training is in two parts covering theory and practical teaching activities.
